The Net: A key feature to this net is the strength and weight of the netting. The netting is DuPont type 66 nylon, with a heavy bonding for UV protection. Even though this cage is designed for golf, the netting is heavier than many of the standard batting cage nets available on the market. This netting has a break strength of approximately 240 lbs. per strand, which is similar to the one our competitors are selling for $499 without a double back, without a target, and without a mat!

The Frame: The package includes a complete frame including all of the poles, the corners, and hanging accessories you'll need. The frame corners are die cast aluminum with an I.D. of 1-3/8", and feature locking set screws for simple assembly and disassembly. The poles quickly break down into 5' lengths for easy off-season storage or transportation. If your cage is going to be subjected to wind or inclement weather, we strongly recommend our stake down kit.

The Target: Next, the package includes our durable target. The white center stripe is made out of a fine nylon mesh, which is quiet when the ball strikes it. The black outer stripes are made of a heavy tarpaulin material, which makes an audible "pop". This way the target provides the golfer with instant audible shot feedback without the golfer needing to look up to see where his or her ball went. If the shot is quiet, the ball hit the quiet center strip, if the shot makes a pop, the shot is off line.

Replaceable Impact Panel: This package includes a nylon replaceable impact panel, so if you wear a hole in the impact panel, you can simply replace the panel without even taking the cage net down from the frame.

The Lead Weighted Bottom Line: A heavy lead line is included to keep the bottom of the impact panel from bouncing up and making your golf balls more difficult to retrieve. We go one step further and sew a heavy nylon rope onto the bottom of every non-impact, vertical panel.

The Grommets: Our grommets are cleated for superior holding strength. We install grommets around the entire top perimeter of your cage. Each cage is suspended by cleated grommets, which are attached to durable 3" nylon webbing around the entire perimeter of the cage.

Uncleated grommets tend to pull away from the webbing. Depending on the size of your cage, the netting will be suspended from 12 or more points producing less stress at each point of suspension.

The Mat: Finally, this package is rounded out with our very best 3'x5' Super Duty hitting mat. This is the same high quality mat you'll find at your local driving range facility. Both the nap and the turf are thicker and more durable than typical residential hitting mats.
