The Netting
The most important
component in golf nets and cages is the netting material used.
When
a spinning golf ball impacts a golf net, any slight abrasions
on the ball will catch on loosely woven netting. This causes premature
net wear.
That's why
we only use premium knotless netting manufactured by Badinotti
and imported from Italy.
Badinotti
netting is very tightly woven with 48 strands of nylon and is
urethane impregnated. Urethane impregnation acts like a protective
coating that helps resist shrinking and snagging. It also prevents the net from absorbing water,
so it resists rotting.
The Impact Panel
If
you hit a golf ball into the same spot enough times, you can eventually
wear a hole through any material. Rather than patch or replace the
entire golf practice net, we have designed our nets to allow easy replacement
of the panel that will realize the most wear. All of our golf cages
include a rope which can be used to hang a replaceable impact panel.
This panel hangs down about a foot
from the back wall of the golf cage. The cage has a rope woven into the
top panel 12" from the back in order to hang the impact panel.
The Lead Weighted Bottom Line
A heavy lead
line is installed at the bottom of the impact panel to keep
the net from bouncing up, making golf balls more difficult
to retrieve.
We also sew a heavy nylon rope onto the bottom of
every non-impact, vertical net or panel.
The Webbing
Our
commitment to quality follows through to the webbing, which is attached
to the outer edge of each single piece of netting to form the
net panels. Although we use rope borders on several designs, our
Super Duty nets all incorporate this heavy webbing border, as do
most of our custom golf cages.
We use webbing
that is heavier duty and wider than that used by other manufacturers.
(most don't use it all all)
Thinner webbing doesn't provide enough material to secure the netting.
This can loosen and pull
apart under stress.
Our panels
are secured with high quality 3" webbing assuring that
the panels used to form your cage will stay secure through many
years of practice.
The Grommets
Our grommets
are cleated for superior holding strength, and we install
grommets around the entire top perimeter of your cage.
Each net
is suspended by 12 or more grommets, which are attached
to 3" nylon webbing around the entire perimeter
of the cage.
Other manufacturers
attach one uncleated grommet at the four top corners of
their golf practice cages. This places all of the weight on these
four points, causing pre-mature wear and sagging.
Un-cleated
grommets tend to pull away from the webbing. That is why
we go the extra step to ensure that your practice net or cage is built to
last.

Returns and Warranty
Policy
Because our cages and
nets are hand made, from the finest materials, we rarely have to deal
with warranty issues. Our policy is to promptly and enthusiastically
repair or replace at our option any product that is defective in
materials or workmanship. You return the product to us, and we will
pay for the shipping back to you. Naturally, netting products do
incur normal wear and tear, and normal wear and tear is not considered
a defect.
If the product isn't defective, but you change your mind, we will
still accept returns on stock items. For custom orders and dual
cages, we can't accept returns, nor can we accept order cancellations
after we have cut the netting. Stock items must be returned to us
within 15 days and the product must be unused. We will reimburse
you for the price you paid less a nominal 15% restocking charge.
Naturally we don't reimburse your shipping charges.
