At Sportnetting.com, we believe that a long-lasting golf cage begins with a strong framework. This is why we use engineered polycarbonate, aluminum and welded steel fittings.
Having trouble finding the right size tubing in your area?
Typically you can find these materials at most home improvement stores.
Alternately, you can contact a fencing supplier / contractor using the
yellow pages. Forget about using materials like EMT tubing or PVC pipe
for your tubing – it doesn’t work...we know!
We have two sizes available:
- Standard: 1-3/8” polycarbonate or cast aluminum fittings
- Institutional: 1-5/8” black powder coated steel
Cast Aluminum Frame Corner Kit
This kit is ideal for those who need a strong framework, but may
need to take it down periodically. This is the perfect option for trade
show use, and an excellent choice for indoor or outdoor cages. This kit
includes all the fittings, set screws, and instructions you'll need to
set up your frame.
You will need to supply 1-3/8" galvanized tubing, or equivalent.
1-3/8" galvanized tubing is more than twice as strong as 1" EMT conduit, and more than 3 times as strong as 3/4" EMT conduit. Since this tubing is commonly used as the top rail for chain link fencing, you can find it at your local home improvement store such as Lowe's™ or Home Depot™, or you can source it through your local fencing supplier.
Tubing Only for 1-3/8" Frame Kits
This tubing is designed for use with either of our frame kits (cast aluminum or engineered polycarbonate) - ideal for those who need a strong frame and may need to take it down periodically.
Complete Golf Cage Frames
Kit consists of:
- Cast Aluminum Corner Kit
- 1-3/8" Tubing Kit
Includes black powder coated tubing with push pin quick connects.
This frame option is ideal for those who need a strong frame, and may need to take it down periodically. Perfect for trade show use, and an excellent choice for use indoors or out. The kit includes all the fittings, set screws, and directions you'll need. The powder coated tubing we supply with this includes is slightly under sized, so the we can incorporate a tension sleeve. The tension sleeve provides a more secure fit, and allow you to tighten the set screw without scraping the powder coated finish off the tubing.
Institutional Frame Systems
These systems can be installed permanently in the ground, or free-standing with the included ground sleeve kits!
These options are ideal for golf courses, schools, or individuals who want an even stronger frame setup - and more flexible installation options.
All components are larger, using tubing with an outside diameter of 1-5/8" (compared to 1-3/8") , and with corner fittings crafted from heavy-duty welded steel. The tubing sections are sectioned to 5', and fit together with spring pin connectors, making assembly easy. We use the same tubing and fittings for our commercial batting cages, so you know it will hold up great for your golf cage!
We recommend Option One if your installation is
a commercial fixture and/or does not need to be moved around.
We recommend Option Two if your installation needs to
be moved or disassembled in the off-season.
Installation Option One:
Permanent (in-ground) sleeves can be mounted just below the surface of
the ground in cement footings. Once the concrete is cured, you'll
assemble the rest of your frame, drop the vertical tubes into the ground
sleeves and tighten the bolts (set screws.) This is the most stable
option, but can still be disassembled and stored away in the off season.

- 1-5/8" black powder coated tubing kit - enough to construct a 10'x10'x10' frame
- Four (4) three-way corner fittings for the top perimeter of the frame
- Four (4) permanent (in-ground) style sleeves
- Installation Kit and Instructions
Installation Option Two:
In lieu of the ground sleeves, we'll furnish additional tubing for the
bottom perimeter, more like a typical cube frame. This is the better
option if you occasionally need to lift and move the cage around. An
excellent choice for use indoors or out, and still can be disassembled
and stored away in the off season. Includes:
- 1-5/8" black powder coated tubing kit - enough to construct a complete 10'x10'x10' free-standing frame
- Six (6) three-way welded corner fittings for the top perimeter and lower rear corners of the frame
- Two (2) two-way welded elbow fittings for the lower front corners of the frame

Golf Cage Stake-down Kit
If your golf cage is going to be exposed to any amount of wind or inclement weather, we strongly suggest securing your cage down with this kit. The stakes have been designed with special bends and kinks to resist pulling out of the ground. Includes 100' of black poly rope and carabiner clips for easy attachment.
Ceiling Kit
The ceiling kit allows you to suspend your golf cage from the ceiling. The kit includes black powder coated tubing, polycarbonate corner connectors, straps, and all hardware necessary to hang your netting from the framework.
** Note: This kit is designed to be installed to the ceiling structure of the room - you must be able to screw into wood or metal studs.
Cage Hanger Kit (50 pack)
These cage hanger packs are a great option for use when you may need to take the net up and down periodically. They easily allow for tension adjustment and the spring loaded clip makes removal and reinstall simple and quick. Includes 50 nylon ropes and 50 carabiners.
